The Otca was one of Old Town's fancier canoes back in the day. It is a great paddler or a perfect 'display' canoe. It has white cedar planking and ribs; spruce gunnels; ash stems, deck and keel; with birch seats and thwarts. The stem bands are brass. Hardware are the original silicon-bronze screws and bolts and copper tacks. Seats are original and have been reinforced to handle more weight - plus they have their original machine-woven cane. The color is green like it came from the factory. There are no issues; ribs and siding are in fine shape, as are the seats. Stems, rails, and decks are solid as well. It is 100% paddle worthy.
$1800, cash or PayPal only please. I can deliver locally if needed. Trailer is NOT included. I restore two or three such wood/canvas canoes a year, and have done so for many years. I know what I'm doing, and I take care to replace all damaged woods, cane, and canvas when restoring. Properly cared for this canoe will last several more generations.
